If you’re facing a problem that feels insoluble, try this practice.
- Come into present time by sensing whatever is supporting your body.
- Ask for help from your spiritual guidance.
- Are all parts of you present? If you sense some are missing, invite them in.
- Consider the problem, feeling your emotions, whatever they are in your body about this issue.
- Notice also what your mind tells you about the problem.
- Sit with how you feel about the problem; wherever in your body the emotions are present.
- Now take a pencil or crayon and draw on paper what the problem looks like when it is solved.
- This is not about art or artistic talent. It is about imagination, expression and resonance. And, it's about consciousness.
-You may have a piece of paper with a little or a lot of color. You might have an identifiable shape or abstract lines or splashes.
-If you like, associate texture(s), sound(s) or taste(s) with what is before you on the page.
The more of your senses you bring to the experience, the deeper the healing.
Whatever is on the page representing the solved problem moves you from feeling an issue can't be solved to sensing its resolution.
