Honoring Kate and her Process

Updated: Feb 13, 2022

I’m always intrigued by the myriad ways trauma presents itself.

During a phone conversation to schedule her session, before learning about a client I'll call Kate’s childhood, relationships and life experiences, my sense was that she had unresolved trauma.

In our first session Kate described feeling overwhelmed. She is a senior corporate executive who had felt increasingly exhausted and unable to focus over the past year.

We worked with Kate's body and resourcing her system, her perceiver (inner critic), her inner child, her shadow, her sense of shame, her sleep and her diet, and we cleared the energetics that had held Kate's trauma pattern in place.

I suggested Kate talk to her Functional Medicine physician as I sensed she needed several supplements. I already knew she was working with a skilled therapist.

Once Kate added zinc, magnesium and B vitamins to address what I felt was a mitochondrial issue, her sense of overwhelm healed completely.

I’m deeply grateful for my guidance. And, I learned years ago to listen and trust my intuition, regardless of how implausible what I sense may seem.
