Consciousness Alchemy

“One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light, but by making the darkness conscious.” Carl Gustav Jung

While there are several ways to shine light on darkness, some are more intentionally direct than others.

I’ve found it useful to quiet my mind to allow more space for me to be with 'what is. ' In a sate of expanded consciousness, my night and lucid dreams are more meaningful and vivid. I also have a greater capacity for insight.

One way to invite inner peace is not to respond to random thoughts that arise. If we don’t indulge the last unhelpful thought with a follow-on, our minds become bored engaging the same one over and over again.

My daily meditation practice has been invaluable on my journey. Guided meditations by Tara Brach, Jack Canfield and Jon Kabat-Zinn can be very helpful.

Listening to Theta brainwave music, which can be found easily on Youtube, is also helpful in achieving a state of peaceful mind.
